Project objective
The brief was to create a generous, sociable kitchen that balances contemporary urbanism with the character of the Victorian home.
The result is a refined, functional family space in which architectural contrast, distinctive materials and Victorian heritage come together with quiet confidence as a characterful backdrop for family life.

Renovation detail
A chequerboard Parisian marble floor anchors the scheme, its subtle tones complementing a warm, restrained palette. Crittall-style doors and exposed steel beams introduce an industrial edge, contrasting with the original period features and establishing a clear connection between old and new.
Bespoke, rose-tinted hand-blown glass pendants provide a sculptural focal point, complemented by antique brass fittings that lend warmth and understated luxury.
Bespoke DeVOL cabinetry makes efficient use of the side-return extension, concealing storage and integrating practical details without compromising the overall aesthetic. New electrics, fixtures and fittings complete the transformation, ensuring the kitchen connects seamlessly with the wider house
